"This is an age of wheeling colors and feverish tempos. The comtemporary spirit reflects the young—the people concerned with the present who will establish a new concept of life for the future.…"
From the Foreword of the 1968 Balthi

Big Birthday Bash!

Since most of our classmates will be turning 60 this year, the reunion committee decided that it would be fun to have an "off year" reunion event to celebrate all of our birthdays together! So, save the date, July 24, 2010, from 2 pm to 8 pm for a picnic at South Park. The grove is Circleview just behind the "VIP" (which is the old swimming pool.) Food, beverages and fun will be provided and costs will be kept to a minimum. We will post more details as they become available so check back often.

Just added!

Honoring Dr. Regis Shalley

The BW School Board has agreed to name the new/remodeled auditorium "Dr. Regis Shalley Center for Performing Arts" in honor of the long time choir director/teacher. If you would like to more know about this, please read:

View Old Purbalites

Thanks to Lorrie Zizza Daley for sending us two interesting items. The first is the May 29, 1968 Purbalite with our "Last Will and Testaments."
Second is a copy of "The News", the local Brentwood, Baldwin, Whitehall and Pleasant Hills newspaper from June 19, 1968. We are all in it!
A word of warning: these are large files so if you have a slow connection it may take a few moments to download. Thanks to Rich Helms for getting the scanned copies uploaded to our Bulletin Board under the title "1968 Found Treasures."

You can now download all known email addresses of our classmates. You will receive an email from Dave Blazek giving you the password to access this page. If you do not receive the email containing the password by Feb. 10, 2009, please use the contact page and request it.

The Party's Over…

If you missed our reunion in October of 2008, please browse our web site to see photos of old friends and sign up for our bulletin board to reconnect with them. You can also get a download of available email addresses but you must register with us first (to keep spammers from stealing the addresses!)

Many people asked how they could get a copy of Pat McManus's CD Just Say It Now. You can order a copy by downloading the order form and mailing a check or money order to the address on the form. If you would like to hear the song inspired by high school reunions, "Lookin' back I'm In Love", played at the Reunion from Pat's CD just click the play bar below.

And, Pat has graciously allowed us to put this song on our web site for you to have as a free download.

At the Reunion, everyone received copies of two CDs. Get the playlists below:

If you have photos of the Reunion Weekend Events, please email them to . We want to compile a nice gallery of photos for everyone to enjoy.

Still looking for "Lost Classmates"

You can help the Committee locate those classmates that have not yet been tracked down. Remember, 2013 is just around the corner! Just go to our contact page and let us know any information you have about our fellow alumni. Here is a list of our missing classmates in an Excel spreadsheet.
